A New Day
I never thought that I would actually embody my tumblr profile name “a hot mess”, but as of December 17th, 2010 I became a walking hot mess. This is the day my husband of 7 years called and told me he wanted a divorce. No warning, no emotion from him, just a cold hard look followed by the words, “I don’t love you”.
So now what, where to go from here…..
I start down the road of putting myself back together, healing what parts of my heart I can, and discovering who I am as an individual. Eventually getting back to being “a hot mess” in a more jovial, quirky way. This blog will be a record of what I discover about what I like, the new people I meet and how I fill my time with things that interest me. This is not going to be a place where I moan and groan about my situation; granted there may be times when it is relevant to do so, but hopefully those will be few and far between.
